How To Get The Xenon Lights Look?

HID Xenon Headlights

The popularity and growing demand for HID Lighthouse is obvious. If they become an expensive choice in new premium vehicles, they are now available as standard equipment for many classic models and it’s easy to understand why.

The powerful and powerful white light produced by Xenon bulbs truly illuminates the unprecedented darkness. The cars equipped with these lights are more obvious and more like other road users.

Although HID technology has been used for more than 10 years, there is still a lot of confusion about what they are and how they work, especially how to get the HID effect of their car.

What is a HID xenon lamp (xenon brenner)?

HID xenon lamps or xenon brenner are the latest generation of automotive lighting technology. A few years ago, they first appeared in well-known cars such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Equipping these cars at night is easy to detect because they produce powerful white neon lighting that seems to have a blue tint. The HID bulb flashes slightly on the first light and closes immediately when it is turned off. Unlike a normal halogen bulb, it takes a few seconds to go out.

How does a xenon lamp (xenon brenner) work?

Unlike standard halogen bulbs, which heat the halogen gas in the bulb by passing a current through the metal filament, the HID bulb uses a high-pressure spark to ignite the gas helium. The gearbox is used to generate a high pressure of about 20,000 volts, which is formed between the two electrodes, an active helium spark, which in turn activates the metal halide within the metal halide. Xenon bulbs.

Once the gas is activated, the output of the ballast is stable at 85 volts. The enamel bulb produced by this method is 10 times longer than a standard halogen bulb and consumes much less energy, about 35 watts.

What are the benefits of these lights? Simply put, once you drive overnight with HID headlights, you won’t want to go back. These bulbs are 300% more light than standard halogen bulbs, and white xenon lamps or xenon brenner look great during the day, allowing drivers to see roads and possible dangers before and after clarity.

Can I upgrade my standard Xenon headlight bulb?

There are two ways to upgrade xenon headlights by installing an HID conversion kit or replacing the halogen bulb with the latest xenon lamp.

Installing the HID kit involves installing a pair of high pressure ballast units and two high intensity bulbs instead of standard bulbs. These HID sets have the same principle as operating factory installations for HID xenon lamps or xenon brenner, however, because they are an aftermarket item that is not legal on the road and installation may lose insurance.

Alternatively, you can replace the halogen bulb by upgrading the xenon headlight bulb. These high-performance xenon bulbs are identical to standard headlight bulbs; however, they can produce a 90% brighter output than standard headlamp bulbs by increasing the quality of the filaments and using helium instead of halogen under pressure.

Although these xenon bulbs must not be equal to the full light output of the Xenon HID kit, they are very fast, easy to install, and will cost much less than the full HID helium retrofit kit and, more importantly, are fully legal.
